“ | One day, a call for help from a neighboring city reached the Prince and his companions. Atrocious fiends were appearing, including monstrous dragons transformed by the effects of black mana, and they were wreaking all manner of havoc! | „ |
Void Battles are a series of medium-difficulty quests in Dragalia Lost, where the player fights various monsters corrupted by Black Mana. Defeating them yields materials to craft Void weapons, which can be further upgraded to unlock special abilities for adventurers. These abilities can then be used to counter the effects of Void bosses, or deal additional damage to bosses in Astral Raids and Advanced Dragon Trials. A subcategory of Void Battles, Chimeras, instead offers materials for Chimeratech weapons. These do not have the ability-unlocking feature of Void Weapons, but are instead especially powerful.
Additionally, Void Leafs and
Void Seeds can be exchanged for rewards in the treasure trade, with rewards refreshing at the start of every month.
Void Battles is unlocked by clearing Chapter 7/5-6 of the Main Campaign.
Schedule[edit]
Void quests cycle on a schedule, with 2x or 3x drop events occurring at various times the week.
- Prior to January 25, 2021, some Void quests would cycle in and out of availability, making some quests inaccessible on certain days.
This schedule is frequently changed. The current one is displayed below:

Weapons[edit]
There are two separate weapon series that can be crafted with materials earned in Void Battles: Void Weapons and Chimeratech Weapons. The latter requires mainly materials that can be obtained from Void Chimeras, while the former requires materials from various Void Battles, such as Void Manticores, Void Phantoms and more.
Void Weapons[edit]
Void Weapons have a passive ability and relatively-low strength compared the other 5 elemental weapons. Their main utility lies in the passive abilities that can be unlocked from the Functionality tab: once the player unlocks an ability from a Void Weapon, its passive bonus is applied to all adventurers who match the weapon's type and element.
- For instance, unlocking High Midgardsormr's Bane on a Flame-attuned Void Sword will unlock it for
The Prince, since he is Flame-attuned and can use swords. The ability will still apply even if The Prince equips a non-Void sword, and even if that other sword isn't Flame-attuned - only the adventurer's element and weapon class are considered.
However, note that since Void Manacasters don't exist, unlockable abilities for Manacasters can be found on the core weapon series instead.
In order to craft Void Weapons, the player must own a fully-upgraded 5★ non-elemental core weapon of matching type, and have the Smithy at Lv. 7+. Void Weapons are a prerequisite for crafting High Dragon Weapons.

Chimeratech Weapons[edit]
All Chimeratech Weapons have fairly-high strength, and the Unyielding Offense ability - this grants a permanent Strength buff to the owner every time their HP falls below 70% in battle, up to a maximum of five times.
In order to craft Chimeratech Weapons, the player must own a fully-upgraded 5★ non-elemental core weapon of matching type, and have the Smithy at Lv. 8+. Chimeratech Weapons are a prerequisite for crafting Agito Weapons.

Dragons[edit]
Three dragons can be redeemed from the Treasure trade for Void Seeds. They have low stats and their main focus is not strengthening the adventurer during a quest, but rather to increase rewards obtained for clearing it. Each dragon increases income for a specific type of reward, respectively Adventurer Experience, Mana and Rupies.
