Icon Buff 2050047.pngIcon Buff 2050049.png Sigil is a system used by the Ilian Apostle adventurers: 110395 01 r05.png Regina, 110397 01 r05.png Basileus, 110365 01 r05.png Nevin, 110381 01 r05.png Ryszarda, 110382 01 r05.png Faris, and 110366 01 r05.png Pinon. Variants of those adventurers, such as 110365 03 r05.png Dragonyule Nevin, may also use Sigil.

Mechanics[edit]

  • Each of these adventurers start quests with a debuff called Icon Buff 2050047.png Locked Sigil, which manifests as 5 stacks of 60 seconds each (totaling 300 sec). The debuff will wear off over time, but can also be accelerated by several seconds if the adventurer performs certain actions. Once Locked Sigil has completely worn off, it will change into Sigil Released.
  • During Icon Buff 2050049.png Sigil Released, the adventurer may have enhanced skills, standard attacks, and/or abilities. The exact effects will vary by adventurer.
  • If the "Team Change" feature for the second phase of Rise of the Sinister Dominion is used, and a Sigil-using adventurer is in the second team, they will be granted Icon Buff 2050049.png Sigil Released automatically. This will occur regardless of how long the first phase lasted.
    • Sigil-using adventurers in the first team are not affected, and will still start with Icon Buff 2050047.png Locked Sigil as usual.
    • Certain quests, such as Satan Clash, may also make a Sigil-using adventurer start the quest with Icon Buff 2050049.png Sigil Released.
  • Transforming into a dragon will not remove the Icon Buff 2050047.png Locked Sigil debuff, unless the adventurer's abilities state otherwise (see 110365 01 r05.png Nevin).
  • Icon Buff 2050049.png Sigil Released is immune to Icon Buff 2010011.png Curse of Nihility.

During Sigil Released, this skill instead deals 1 hit of 1000% shadow damage to the target and nearby enemies plus a number of additional hits of shadow damage to nearby enemies equal to the number of buff zones they're standing in. Damage dealt by those hits is 300% for user-created buff zones and 100% for buff zones created by allies.

Lv. 2: For 15 seconds, reduces strength by 20%.
Lv. 3: For 10 seconds, reduces strength by 30% and scorchrend resistance by 25%.

If Uriel's Wrath is inflicted while already active, it will be raised one level. Conversely, it will be lowered one level when the effect's remaining time is depleted. If the effect is at level one when this time is depleted, it will instead be removed entirely.
