"If you worms think one mere defeat is enough to put me down for good, then you're in way over your heads." When the insatiable desire for revenge gushes forth from the abyss between worlds, a hatred doomed to fester for eternity stains white wings black. A girl eats away at the reasoning once espoused by the angelic herald of the goddess's will, fanning the flames of a burning darkness. She is Lilith, the avatar of atrocity masked in a veneer of innocence, and she is evil incarnate, driven to consume all existence on instinct alone.

Rise of the Sinister Dominion is the third series of high-difficulty quests in Dragalia Lost. Released after the The Agito Uprising, certain difficulties of these quests feature a new Team Change mechanic that causes the boss to change their elemental attunement mid-battle. Players must therefore prepare two teams of predetermined elemental attunements before embarking on quests with this mechanic. Defeating them yields materials that can be used to unlock sixth and seventh wyrmprint slots for their Agito weapons, and special wyrmprints that may only be equipped in those slots. These special wyrmprints can be upgraded using materials that are earned when a duplicate special wyrmprint drops.
Rise of the Sinister Dominion is unlocked by clearing Chapter 16/4-6 of the Main Campaign.
On Nov 15, 2021, the new Legend difficulty was added starting with Lilith's Encroaching Shadow. These quests may only be undertaken by two teams of adventurers and dragons of the elements the boss is weak to. Clearing the Legend difficulty grants materials that can be traded in the Rise of the Sinister Dominion Treasure Trade.
Weekly Bonuses may be collected upon clearing a Rise of the Sinister Dominion quest. After clearing the quest, the player will be asked for confirmation if they would like to receive this bonus. For Standard, Expert, or Master-difficulty quests, up to 3 bonus rewards may be collected each week. For Legend-difficulty quests, one bonus reward may be collected each week.
Weekly Bonus rewards vary by difficulty, as follows:
These special wyrmprints obtained from Rise of the Sinister Dominion may only be equipped in a weapon's sixth or seventh slot, and upgrading them requires materials that are earned when a duplicate special wyrmprint drops.
The wyrmprints available will differ depending on the boss fought.
Some wyrmprints are only available on Standard, while others are only available in Expert/Master.
Expert/Master drop the same wyrmprints, but Master has higher drop rates for rarer wyrmprints.
The wyrmprints dropped in each Sinister Dominion quest reference adventurers that match one of the elements of the boss.
Further, each boss drops a wyrmprint that references one of the main 5 story adventurers: The Prince, Elisanne, Ranzal, Cleo, and Luca. The element of the adventurer referenced matches the element of the boss in phase 2 of Master difficulty.
