Description

Stage 1
On a still night, a phantom thief sends notice to an usurer: "When the moon pines and its cheeks are flushed red, I will come for the rainbow jewel tucked away inside your safe. —The Blue Rose"
Stage 2
The usurer's manse was under strict surveillance, the guard hardened with able soldiers. Yet the phantom thief only whispered, "The larger the audience, the worthier the heist. Let us begin."
Stage 3
When the moon's light shone red, the thief appeared dramatically before the guards. "Bonjour, friends! What a lovely night to see the blue rose aglow in crimson moonlight... It is a perfect setting for enchantment!"
Stage 4
As a whirl of blue blossoms distracted the guard, the thief vanished. In a dither, the usurer rushed to inspect the safe and found only a note that read, "Sure as the wind, the rainbow jewel is now mine. Au revoir!"
Stage 5
As she ran 'neath the red moon, the phantom thief said, "Now to return this ill-gotten treasure to its rightful owner." For whenever the Blue Rose appears, it is said a person robbed of something precious will smile.
