Dragon Haste Up
From Dragalia Lost Wiki
Dragon Haste Up increases the user's dragon gauge fill rate.

Dragon Haste Formula
The amount of Dragon Haste accessible to a given unit is found with this formula:
(Highest Co-ability Haste) + (Sum of Chain Co-Abilities' Haste) + (Wyrmprint Haste)
- Highest Co-ability Haste - the largest Dragon Haste primary co-ability on the team.
- Sum of Chain Co-Abilities' Haste - the sum of the Dragon Haste chain co-abilities that would affect a given unit.
- Example: suppose a team consists of unit A (who is
Shadow), and unit B (who is
Water).
- The team's chain co-abilities sum to 50% haste (
shadow-exclusive), 20% haste (
water-exclusive), and 8% haste (no restriction).
- Unit A would have access to 58% haste, while unit B would have access to 28%.
- Example: suppose a team consists of unit A (who is
- Wyrmprint Haste - Looks at the unit in the team whose wyrmprints sum to the highest amount of Dragon Haste.
- Example 1: Suppose Unit A equips
Blossoms on the Water's Edge (8% haste).
- Suppose Unit B equips
Blossoms on the Water's Edge as well as
Holywyrm's Advent (8 + 8, reaching wyrmprint cap of 15% haste).
- A's total haste is 8% while B's total haste is 15%, so 15% haste is applied to the team (A's haste is ignored since it isn't the highest).
- Example 2: Suppose Units A and B each only equip
Blossoms on the Water's Edge (8% haste). Their total haste is tied at 8%, so that means the highest haste in the team is 8%, so the team gets 8% (not 15%).
- Effectively, this means you should stack haste on ONE unit to get the maximum gains, rather than spreading it out.
- Example 1: Suppose Unit A equips
DP/UTP vs Percentage
- All gauge gain from enemy drops is DP, whereas gain from skills, abilities, etc can be DP, UTP (in the case of Dragondrive/Personas/Tiki/Notte, etc) or a percentage.
- DP-based and UTP-based gains ARE affected by Dragon Haste, but percentage-based gains are NOT affected.
- Examples of percentage-based gains:
Shapeshift PrepLv. 1: Fills 10% of the dragon gauge at the start of quests. from various sources such as wyrmprints or
Audric.
Draconic ChargeLv. 1: Fills 50% of the user's dragon gauge when their HP drops to 40% (once per quest). from
Gala Prince.
Skills = Shapeshift PrepLv. 1: Fills the user's dragon gauge by 4% when using skills. This does not include weapon or dragon skills. This is also not affected by Dragon Haste. from
Forte.
(Flame) Combo = Shapeshift PrepLv. 1: If a team member is attuned to Flame: fills 3% of their dragon gauge for every 50-hit combo. Benefits your whole team.
Lv. 2: -
Lv. 3: -
Lv. 4: -
Lv. 5: - fromGala Leonidas.
- If the hasted DP contains a decimal, the resulting DP gained is rounded up to the next whole number. For instance, if the DP after haste would have been 103.5 DP, then 104 DP will be gained instead. The same principle applies to UTP.
In Solo
- In solo play, Dragon Haste from each team member is factored into the formula.
- If a foe drops DP, then that DP is "credited" to the currently-controlled unit. Therefore, that unit's haste will be applied to the DP.
- Example: Suppose unit A has 50% haste, while Unit B has 20% haste.
- If A is controlled when a boss drops DP, then 50% haste will be applied to that DP.
- If B is controlled when a boss drops DP, then 20% haste will be applied to that DP.
- Recall that the dragon gauge is shared among all team members in solo, meaning it is effectively "better" for A to be controlled when the drop occurs, to gain the most DP.
- If DP is gained directly from a skill (such as on
Gala Mym's skill
Dragon ClawLv. 4: Deals 3 hits of 810% flame damage to enemies directly ahead, dispels one buff from each target, increases the user's strength by 20% for 10 seconds, and raises the dragon gauge by 50 DP if the attack connects. [2914 SP]), then the DP is "credited" to the unit that cast that skill. Therefore, that unit's haste will be applied to the DP gain.
- Example: Suppose a team has Unit A with 50% haste and
Gala Mym with 20% haste.
- Gala Mym uses dragon claw to gain DP. Her 20% haste is applied to that DP gain.
- Example: Suppose a team has Unit A with 50% haste and
In Co-op
- In co-op, Dragon Haste does NOT apply to human-controlled allies.
- Dragon Haste co-abilities and chain co-abilities on your backline will still affect you (provided you meet element requirements, etc)
- Dragon Haste wyrmprints equipped on you will affect you.
- Dragon Haste wyrmprints equipped on your backline will NOT affect you.
On Helpers
- On Helpers, their Dragon Haste is managed separately from the solo team (meaning the helper can only use their own co-abilities, chain co-abilities, and wyrmprints).
- If the Helper's skill would grant DP, and the Helper has Dragon Haste, their dragon haste will boost the DP gained by that skill.
- Example: If
Gala Mym is set as a helper and equips
Blossoms on the Water's Edge, the DP granted by her skill
Dragon ClawLv. 4: Deals 3 hits of 810% flame damage to enemies directly ahead, dispels one buff from each target, increases the user's strength by 20% for 10 seconds, and raises the dragon gauge by 50 DP if the attack connects. [2914 SP] will be boosted.
- Example: If
