Formula[edit]
The current estimated formula for the duration of a dragon transformation (in seconds) is:
Notes
- Dragondrive, Hybrid Transformation, and Personas all CANNOT use Dragon Time. Therefore, this formula and all related effects are irrelevant for those transformations. See Unique Transformation for more details.
Variable Descriptions[edit]
Bond Level
The equipped dragon's Bond Level, as shown in the Dragon's Roost.
- This value ranges from a minimum of 1 to a maximum of 30.
Dragon Time Extension %
The sum of percentage-based dragon time extensions.
Examples:
Dragon Time +20% from max-unbound
Dragon Brethren.
Dragon Time +25% from
Xainfried.
Shapeshifting Boost VIII from
Gala Prince grants 20% Dragon Time.
(Flame) Flame Dancer V from
Panther grants 20% Dragon Time.
Dragon Time Extension Numerical
The sum of numerical dragon time extensions.
Examples:
Exhilaration from max-unbound
Pop-Star Siren grants +3 seconds of dragon time, stackable up to 5 seconds if more than one Pop-Star Siren is present.
Dragon Time Depletion Delay %
The sum of effects that slow depletion of the dragon time gauge.
Examples:
Dragonlight's Resolve III from
Gala Prince slows dragon time gauge depletion by 40%.

Dragon Time Restoration[edit]
These effects restore part of the Dragon Time gauge during dragon transformation, if certain conditions are met. However, the amount restored cannot exceed the gauge's maximum.
- For example, suppose the formula above determined that a dragon transformation will last 15 seconds. If the gauge is restored by 5 seconds when 12 seconds remain, then the gauge will fill up to 15 seconds, not 17 seconds.

Dragon Time Depletion[edit]
These effects deplete part of the Dragon Time gauge during dragon transformation, if certain conditions are met.
- For example, if
Conquering Scion II's condition is met, then the dragon time gauge will start already half-depleted upon starting dragon transformation.
