Affliction Duration Up

This article is about the effect that increases maximum duration of afflictions. For the effect that replenishes the duration of afflictions (but cannot go above the maximum value), see Affliction Duration Replenish.

Affliction Duration Up increases the maximum amount of time that an affliction can be active on a foe.

Mechanics

• Affliction Duration Up is only factored into an affliction at the time of application. Gaining Affliction Duration Up after afflicting will NOT retroactively affect existing stacks.

Example:

• Let's suppose Summer Alex inflicts Scorchrend onto a foe.
• After that, Salex activates her ability Flurry Scorchrend Edge & Sting II, and then applies Scorchrend a second time while her ability is active.
• The 1st Scorchrend does NOT have its max duration boosted by the ability, since the ability was NOT active at the time of the 1st Scorchrend's application.
• The 2nd Scorchrend does have its max duration boosted by the ability, since the ability was active at the time of the 2nd Scorchrend's application.
